    Tokenizing real estate means issuing ownership of a property – or a stake in it – as digital tokens on a blockchain. Each token represents a fractional share, and ownership and distributions are tracked automatically.

  • Is real estate tokenization legal?

    Yes, where structured correctly. Property is typically held in an SPV and ownership tokens are issued as regulated securities to eligible investors. Tokenizer.Estate provides the software; the structure is set with your legal counsel.

  • How fast can we tokenize a property?

    Once the SPV and property data are ready, issuing on the platform typically takes 2–8 weeks.

  • Do I have to sell the whole property?

    No. You can tokenize and sell any portion and keep the majority. The St. Regis Aspen did exactly this, selling 19% to token investors while retaining the rest.

  • How do investors get returns?

    Token holders receive their share of rental income or proceeds automatically through the platform, and can transfer tokens subject to the rules you set.
