Basics of Tokenization
What types of properties can be tokenized?
Last updated: 2025-11-26
In theory, almost any type of real estate can be tokenized if the legal structure allows it. Common examples include:
- Residential apartments and houses
- Office buildings and co-working spaces
- Retail units, shopping centers, and warehouses
- Hotels, resorts, and serviced apartments
- Land plots and development projects
Sometimes, even a portfolio with many properties in different locations is placed into one structure and then tokenized. The key point is not the type of property, but clear ownership, good documentation, and a legal framework that connects the tokens to the real asset.
